Located in an area known for its two summers lies African Summer Spa. This spa is aimed at providing its guests with advanced  treatments focused on holistic wellbeing.

Hoedspruit is known for its breathtaking nature and wildlife, which, the creator of African Summer Spa, wanted to showcase and bring into the experience at the spa, delivering unparalleled service in an unforgettable setting.

The spa originated in 1994 to provide guests with the opportunity to not only experience the natural beauty of the area but also its serene and calming atmosphere. The design of the space allows guests to unwind with a therapeutic treatment or simply beat the heat by enjoying an afternoon poolside with refreshments.

The African Summer Spa changed ownership in 2021. Biancé Janse Van Vuuren, the current owner of the spa, is a Hoedspruit local who jumped at the opportunity to share her passion and expertise in the health an wellness industry with all of African Summer Spa guests.
